That was somehow a completely different kind of insane than I had prepared myself for.

Yeah. I don't know much about art, but it's like - neat. Seeing stuff like this.

We've got art galleries back home, but they're all just local stuff. Blown glass and wood carvings and stuff, you know?

week 2: monday

[ alex is browsing the library, but doesn't really seem to be looking for anything? she's just wandering the aisles aimlessly. the feeling is... vague boredom. ]

Hey. Lots of fun spots this week, huh?

[medeian]

[she's wandering the aisles as well with a few books under her arm! her feelings are little bit more complex in this moment - a severe sense of nervousness and anxiety, along with a restless and deep kind of anger. she still gives alex a little wave and a smile, though.]

Yeah. I can see myself spending a lot of time here... How about you?

[ oh that's. that's so many emotions. alex is resting at a low calm. a little stressed, but not about anything new. ]

If I need somewhere quiet, sure.

... So if it wasn't why we thought—why was it?

[ okay i'm sorry alex is rude and just asks right away. but at least her tone is like. soft and genuine? and her emotions are mostly centered on feeling sad and confused, rather than angry. so that's maybe something. ]

[she's valid!! libby's emotions in return are mostly just exhausted, frustrated, fearful and sad, kind of in a jumble and none really directed at alex herself.]

At this point, does it matter why?

Because it's better to know? It's better to understand? I don't—I don't like the truth getting lost. That sucks.
