You've gone through enough that you're starting to pick up on it from feeling. That's something... not once has anyone outside Takashi and I noticed we're in loops. But, the structure of the loops seems different compared to the loops you and Jonas both have gone through. As far as I can tell.

Yeah, there are like... small loops throughout the night. Like, five minutes at a time will keep repeating and playing out different. Jonas can't always tell when it's happening.
And then there's the whole night? I think? I think it's different?
[ a tap... and, well, the machine produces a plate of dried sardines. wow. it's still a simulation so even if she eats them it won't really be filling, but there will still be a taste? so, if she does eat them, well i guess let me know. ]

It's a food printer. It instantly provides healthy cuisine well-balanced in nutrients. But, the flavor is... not good. All the options are too healthy for some of the people on board. A lot of the ingredients come from the Synthesis Plant.
[ no, they get it, nobody would want to go through the consequences of loops. just like they would not wish anyone to be in their own shoes. the kind of reactions they've gotten even talking about them... some of the stares, the incredibility as they question how Setsu hasn't gone insane... that enough tells them. ]
Highly nutritional, but the flavoring isn't good. Which it makes a bit of sense since the Synthesis Plant synthesizes the ingredients for the most part. Outside the fresh vegetables Stella tends to grow in the lab.
[ honestly, setsu has probably gone through things similar enough to what alex considers the worst parts of the night. seeing her friends hurt and dead again and again. or finding yourself suddenly alone in unpredictable, sudden moments of uncertainty.

They don't really compare to freshly made food, or anything you've had back home I'm sure but... they aren't completely terrible. At least better than the flavoring here by the food printer.

anyways, they'll walk for a bit but eventually come to this room. a huge "plant" that can synthesize almost anything, regardless of material. there's a larger printer here, really. however, items such as weapons require special permission to produce. over by the screen actually seems to be... a map of the ship! they're currently located in the "free room" which is on the middle deck on the left side between the laboratory, meeting room and gym. ]
Maybe... I think it's because I've gotten so used to surviving on military rations, I can't really see them as terrible.

I think it's a bit more enjoyable to try things with company. But, a lot of the time I end up just exploring the new areas than the food places.
