Ancient arts of that kind unfortunately escape me. [ ancient arts...? ] I've mostly been with the military, and more recently board the interstellar cruiser D.Q.O.
[ a brief pause, seeming to think this over. ]
...I'm not used to having downtime, admittedly. I'm far too used to constantly being on the move and gathering info. I guess it wouldn't hurt to give some of them a try.
Kazuki had seemed a bit weirded out that I was not in school as well, given our same age.
[ so it's a bit funny in a way that alex thinks it's cool, whereas kazuki thought it was Weird. but they don't seem upset by it. almost as if it's interesting. ]
I'd.. feel a bit more comfortable, yes. Of course, most of what I did before was mostly gathering information, so I can just do the same thing here. It's just... very different, and obviously so.
Pretty early on, I originated from Base Fifty-Two-- it's a Federal Galactic Army base. So it feels like I was always training with the military, before I began my interstellar travels.
[ and zetsu does not know more than that sweats ]
... Thanks, Alex. I, um.. I'll keep it in mind. [ sheepish... though honestly, sometimes they kinda just need to be dragged into things like that. otherwise they'll busy themselves with Work. ]
[ well, ] Any movie would be new to me, I've only learned about them not too long ago on the interstellar cruise. It does seem like a fun experience with others...
[ yeah they really did just recently learn about movies help me ]
Compared to a lot of other's timeframes, I do seem to be more into the future yes.
[ imagine space military having movies ]
The base I originated from didn't really have any. We didn't have video things like movies. Though I'm aware that movies did originate from Earth specifically.
[ you would think so... but in canon setsu literally is like "oh this is one of those "video" things." me like mx setsu..... what....excuse me ]
For the majority of them, there are. Earth exists, which I believe quite a few people are here from. Kanaan 579, a planet with only AI... Planet Arsla, which is said to be run-down, with sparse civilization; however, it is to an extent involved with the research of intellectualized animals.
[ and well, so on. ] Majority of the people aboard the interstellar cruise all came from different planets.
So if all of this - meeting people from other worlds stuff, like, less insane to you? [ since they already know about other worlds? even if those worlds are presumably bound by the same laws of science or whatever. ]
Basically. Even though it's been quite some time since I've met someone new. Still... the concept of people being from other worlds, it's nothing new to me. I know it's not the same for everyone.
It's, like, not at all the same obviously. But I'm from such a small town that it kind of feels like this is my first time meeting new people in forever, too.

[ hehe ]
Well, I'm pretty good at sports! So if you ever feel like learning a new one!

Would you feel better with a packed schedule? I like to keep active, but it's not like I usually have plans or anything, either.

And if you want to learn any of the sports here to fill time, let me know. I can teach you the basics and we can play.

Or if you even just want a walking buddy. No games necessary!
[ a bitch cannot sit still. ]

I couldn't say no to a walking buddy. You'll never know what you can find by exploring.
[ same. ]

But it's good to stretch your legs!

[ hmm ] Maybe... some place where we can watch "movies"?

Wonder if we'd get to see movies from each others' worlds.

How did you not have movies?

Huh. So where you're from are other planets, like... Occupied? There are civilizations there and everything, or?

If I wanted to, yes. It's a bit up in the air though.

There's quite a number of people here too. The most I've seen on the ship ever is fifteen people.

Wait, how big was the ship you were on?
