Tennis days in gym class were always the best. Well, that and badminton day.

wenzhou doesn't have his furball with him at the moment, as he surveys the equipment thoughtfully. ]

Badminton's pretty popular back home. I didn't play it much, but it's good and simple for a quick game.

I think the PE teacher just liked it because no one could get hurt.

[ alex being a roamer and wenzhou being restless works out to them meeting out in the void, maybe in the streets in their wandering. he's made sure that fei du has returned from his dissociation, but now he's just full of. energy without an outlet.

Hey, you've been looking after Kazuki?

[ someone just died. it's fine. ]

[ i mean do we really want to focus on someone just dying? all day? in this emotional economy? ]

Not that he makes it easy. But he's a good kid, just prickly. I've dealt with worse and he's put some barbs down.

[ of course wenzhou is in the pet store. he has one of the few pets that came with them. but he's not looking at the cat supplies at the moment... more like, he's looking at the cats themselves, and is cradling a little baby kitten and letting it chew on his fingers.

when he notices someone else coming into the shop, and sees it's alex, there's a blip of welcoming warmth and familiarity that pops out from the reluctant cuteness proximity for the kitten. ]

[ alex emotions are boring and normal, but perhaps a little excited about all these cute animals as she wanders over! ]

Heard you can't pet dogs without your cat throwing a fit. So, kittens, huh?

[ they're really just some boring normies when it comes to emotionshare. though, there's a streak of confusion at that - then, realization, and exasperated fondness mixed with something sad before it fades. ]

The young master forgets any slight in the face of food. [ he shifts the kitten off its back to offer her the little fluffball. ] I'm not sure he's ever met a dog - but Fei Du had him before I did.

week 2: sunday

[ honestly sometime after execution she is probably just fucking pacing back and forth somewhere outside. ]

[ oh if that is not a fucking mood.

wenzhou watches her for a bit before he comes to walk a similar ditch into the ground, parallel her. ]

You need an outlet, or quiet, Alex?

I think I've had enough quiet.

[ she doesn't like being stuck brooding by herself. but she also doesn't really know what an 'outlet' would be, because it's not like she enjoys talking about her feeling that much either. ]

wk 3; saturday

wenzhou is laying on the ground in the park, actually, after having his hand healed, just - smoking. one arm behind his head, staring at the sky. trying to keep a steely, frustrated anger from stewing. ]

[ she walks over and comes to stand over him, looking down and kind of—assessing, like she's trying to discern if he'll tell her to fuck off or not. ]

[captainry]

[ looks up at her around his cigarette hand, before taking the other one and patting the ground next to him.

he's a little stone-faced angry, but the edges soften enough to be more welcoming. ]

week 4: monday

[ waaaandering up to wenzhou. ]

Yeah. Feels like this place needs some railings before we join -
