I thought the visions of Rin had to mean something. But I couldn't understand what it meant.

Rang told me he was seeing Rin and I just walked away. But then it was all of them, so...

Pretty obvious clue, in retrospect.

I guess I don't... know for sure? I still don't even understand why it was happening. Why—any of that happened when it didn't last week.

Maybe we'll find out, or the reapers will tell us. But...I think I'd rather think of it as Rin's spirit than think of it as a cruel joke.

... If... If it was just a cruel joke, I think there are worse things it could have been. [ as opposed to seeing rin happy and smiling for a little bit, even if that had been plenty upsetting in its own way. ]
