This world itself is strange. So it begs the question of just who they are and where they’ve come from — but it almost sounds embarrassing to pry that information out of a teenager.

Anyway, I only bring it up because I think it would best to treat them as friends. But they're just... part of the student council, I guess.

You know teenagers don't all just automatically like each other, right? I think we're more likely to hate each other than adults.
