Really? [ said in a tone that says he does not believe her, but he will let it slide. it's not like he's really ready to talk about any of it yet either. does it matter? they're dead, so it's probably whatever. they have to focus on getting back and going home instead. ]

That was easy. [ joking. ] They were telling me about how long it's been since they've been grounded. They were traveling through space for a while.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. I had to explain what bowling alleys were for. They were talking about being on a base for a long time but it sounded like it didn't have much.

Huh. I get that people from the magic worlds don't have bowling, but I would have thought worlds with space travel would know about it. [ but as she's saying that out loud she realizes that's kind of a random distinction, maybe. ] For some reason.

Space is part of our solar system, so you'd think. [ he really just kind of just goes along with agreeing, like an idiot. ]

I didn't get a chance to ask. [ they started talking about time loops instead. ] But we'll probably have time to do the whole "getting to know you" thing more in-depth when teams are settled.

You think? [ he is not as enthused as she is, but he can at least agree team outing and bonding probably isn't a bad idea. ] I mean yeah, I guess since it's the only thing there it's...an idea.

I want to get to know whoever we're working with. And - yeah, there aren't a whole lot of other options for stuff we could all do together.

... Plus... What else are we doing until a task comes in? We've got time.

And if the task is bowling then we're already ahead of the game. [ the task will not be bowling. ] I still have no idea who we should ask to be our fourth.

Kazuki came up last time, right? He's about our age. And he didn't come here with anyone, which is good if we're asking Setsu. And he plays guitar. [ is that? relevant? ]

That explains a few things about Kazuki, too. But what's the guitar got to do with anything? [ it's fine, it's whatever. i'm really glad alex got the fun lore and he got "japan is full of terrorists" lore.

He actually mentioned that those two were thinking about teaming up anyway. So...that might work.

Then let's go for that. And if they say no, we'll just... Figure out something else.

There's a few back-up options if we need to, but we'll call them our first draft. [ mildly related: ] I'm going to keep Rin in the loop. I told him I'd share anything I came across...didn't seem like a bad alliance to have even if I'm not sure what team he's ending up on.

Cool. I told Wolfwood I'd tell him if we figured stuff out. [ so that's her... alliance? sure. ] Not that there's much to report, yet.

There will be sooner or later. He's not a bad person to have on our side either. [ which is jonas for he likes wolfwood decently enough. ] Once people pick their teams it'll be easier for us to find at least one person per team we can think about trading information with.

[ because. like. there are some people who can figure it out themselves, or some people they may not want to talk to. ]

You don't think there'll be some teams we just wholesale want to avoid?
